Job Description
We are looking for 55+ (or close to it) camp hosts to work as grounds keeper, maintenance, general handyman and communal area cleaner for our 55+ park in Ridge Manor, Florida. This would preferably be a job for a couple. We are an owner operated RV and mobile home park close to the Withlacoochee River and trail, 1 hour to Orlando, 1 hour to Tampa, 1 hour to the beach. Close to groceries and shopping. We are a quiet, wooded park with friendly residents and clean facilities. We have 40 mobile homes and ~50 RV sites, mostly occupied during the winter season.
This position is working for an hourly wage initially and then moving to salary and full hookup including site rent (excluding electricity) after a few months trial period. The requirements as camp hosts are to greet guests, clean restrooms and communal areas as well as general maintenance and taking care of any projects which need attention (landscaping, plumbing, carpentry, electrical projects..). We are looking for a long term commitment, but open to other possibilities. Must be people friendly, self motivated and enthusiastic.
