Job Description
CAMPGROUND HOST DUTIES:
Primary duties could include assisting in the contact station during busy times, providing surveillance of camping area, and assisting maintenance and janitorial staff. Candidates must be friendly and able to communicate effectively with the public. In addition to hosting, candidates may assist as needed with other duties, such things like canoe and kayak rentals. Candidates must be in good health and capable of physical work in an outdoor environment. Candidates must comply fully with all rules & regulations. The employee uniform may include a baseball hat and/or shirt. A neat & professional appearance will be maintained.
WORK SCHEDULE:
Work is available 20-40 hours per week, including holidays and weekends. Days off are mid-week. Hosts may work a split daily shift on holidays & weekends. Subject to change, depending on work requirements. Days off and hours worked may be flexible as needed.
BENEFITS:
Free campsite during time of service. Site amenities could include water, sewage, and 30-amp electric hookups. Free use of all other campground amenities, including dump station. Compensation is based on time worked. All uniforms, equipment, tools, and supplies, will be provided by the Yough Lake Campground.
