ELS is hiring for a Activities Supervisor position at Twin Mills Camping Resort in Howe, IN. Twin Mills is a large 500+ site RV resort serving guests seasonally from April – November. The facility is located approximately 7 miles northeast of Shipshewana, IN. The resort has 200+ acres of scenic wooded landscape with South Twin Lake and Pigeon River access on each side of the property. Amenities include 15 cabins, a lakeside beach, a large multi-purpose clubhouse with general store and front desk, basketball, shuffleboard, wiffle ball field, outdoor movie theater, 18-hole mini golf course, hiking trails, sand volleyball, multiple playgrounds, and more.

What you’ll do:
The Activities Supervisor directs the planning and implementation of our resort activities and events. This position assists with marketing upcoming theme weekends and creating a buzz about what guests’ can expect.

Your job will include:
-Plan and schedule events for all groups within the resort, as well as private events at the resort facilities.
-Serve as the Manager On Duty as needed and assist with Front Desk operations.
-Coordinate and manage all preparations for events: arrange food and beverages, solicit and schedule volunteers, book entertainers, and other duties as required.
-Review requests and select vendors to conduct informational seminars.
-Manage all activities related to marketing initiatives: gather information for flyers and posters, prepare layouts, submit final drafts to the printer, and arrange for delivery.  In addition, assist with communicating weekly themes, activities and events through our text messaging platform and social media outlets
-Maintain open communications with resort management, guests and vendors.
-At all times, represent the resort in a professional manner.
Skills & experience you need:
High school diploma or equivalent.
3+ years of experience in events or activities planning.
Meticulous attention to details.
Excellent communications and organizational skills.
Strong skills in the Microsoft Office Suite, knowledge of Microsoft Publisher preferred.
