We are looking to hire a self-directed individual with a growth mindset to join our team. This position requires you to live on site, unless you are a local resident. The Camp Host will oversee campground operations to ensure our guests have a memorable experience. The right person will be self-motivated, provide outstanding customer service to guests, enjoy being outside, and take immense pride in their work. The Camp Host must act with a sense of urgency and have enthusiasm for customer service.
This position requires the ability to be on your feet for extended durations, be motivated, friendly, and have a strong work ethic.
Camp Host Duties:
- Bathroom cleaning and lots of it. (Unfortunately, not everyone’s favorite job…. just trying to be honest).
- Pond cleaning (outdoor hot springs.)
- Cleaning private soaking tubs.
- Checking guest parking passes.
- Helping front desk with checkouts.
- Hauling garbage to dumpsters.
- Pond walks (ensuring guest safety and rule-following).
- Firewood delivery to campsites.
- Visiting and talking with guests.
Requirements:
- Be able to lift over 25 pounds.
- Valid CPR card (preferred).
- Be friendly and outgoing.
- Have an RV or Camper (hook up provided) if planning to live on site
The MOST important part of the position is running our water system to keep our pond toasty!
If you are camp hosting through the winter, be prepared, as we do get very chilly here. But when you are not on shift you can soak in the hot water to your heart’s content.
Background checks are mandatory for all camp hosts/staff.
We supply work shirts, sweatshirts, hats, walkie-talkies, and work cellphones (for easy communication, and pond temperatures)

Pay: $15.00 per hour
