Visitor Services Volunteer

Tennessee National Wildlife Refuge is over 51,000 acres of various habitat types set aside for the conservation of migratory birds with a focus on wintering waterfowl. The refuge is actively searching for a visitor services volunteer to assist with front desk reception, informing visitors about the refuge and its public use opportunities, assisting with the operations of the Friends of the refuge on site bookstore, etc. The refuge may also need volunteer assistance with light maintenance projects during this time. We ask that the volunteer work 24 hours per week. In return, the refuge will provide a full hookup, covered R.V. pad, conveniently located laundry facility access, propane, a work vehicle and all of the personal protection equipment needed for maintenance projects.
