Park Host

The primary function of a Park Host involves providing positive hospitality and customer service while courteously and professionally informing park guests, with stewardship of park facilities duties as assigned. Secondary functions include assisting in the upkeep of the park facilities and promoting safe and responsible use of USACE amenities. Hosts also provide valuable information on how to improve parks by maintaining open communication with the public and passing such information on to the Rangers. Specific duties include visitor assistance, light maintenance, trash cleanup, security.

Volunteers in this position will work mainly outdoors, both independently and with USACE staff.

A background check is required. Volunteers are required to work at least 20 hours a week to receive a RV site.
