Rocky Mountain National Park is recruiting campground hosts for the 2024 summer season in the following campgrounds:

  1. Longs Peak Campground
    1. Season length: June 27th through September 9th.
    2. RV size: Up to 35ft.
    3. Hookup specifications: Electric, sewer, and a portable water system are available. Electric hookups are standard 30 amp, with the potential to use an adapter.
  2. Timber Creek Campground
    1. Season length: May 23rd through October 7th.
    2. RV size: Up to 40ft.
    3. Hookup specifications: Full hookups available; electric hookups are 30 or 40 amps, adapter may be available.
  3. Moraine Park Campground
    1. Season length: The campground is currently undergoing renovations and be delayed in opening for the season. Target open date of May 23rd through October 15th.
    2. RV size: Up to 40ft.
    3. Hookup specifications: Full hookups available; electric hookups are 30 or 40 amps, adapter may be available. Water hookups may be delayed due to construction.

The park is looking for 2 hosts (or couples) at Timber Creek Campground, and 1 host (or couple) at Longs Peak and Moraine Park Campgrounds. In your application, please include which campgrounds you would like to be considered for.

Schedule: 3 days on, 3 days off. At all sites besides Longs Peak, you will work with at least one other campground host. Hosts will need to serve at least 30 hours a week to qualify for park housing (an RV site), but may be required to serve 32 hours, depending on scheduling. Specific days/hours of shifts will be decided between the hosts and the campground supervisor. Hosts are expected to serve the full season; please note your dates of availability in your application.

Duties include, but are not limited to: cleaning out fire pits, encouraging compliance with campground rules, reporting any disturbances to the park’s law enforcement, and following instructions from park staff.
