JOB DESCRIPTOIN:
The Crocodile Lake National Wildlife Refuge in Key Largo, Florida is seeking RV work-camper volunteers to participate in night-time road cruising and python removal activities. Volunteers will be road cruising for at least four hours per night, three to five nights a week. Road cruising will focus on the detection and capture of invasive Burmese pythons in and around the refuge, either on main roads or in old roadways. Additionally, volunteers will be monitoring for roadkill while road cruising, and spotlighting and capturing other non-native reptiles such as green iguanas, knight anoles and tokay geckos.
