Red River Adventure is seeking to hire staff available to work as a live-on-site campground host. We are a family owned and oriented camp/glamp ground located in Red River Gorge, Ky. Our camp/glamp ground is located in the middle of the scenic Red River Gorge National Geological Area (Kentucky’s leading tourism destinations)
We are interested in a team member with a positive attitude and willingness to exceed our guest’s expectations in helping us maintain our excellent standards and services we provide.
We are looking for a person to fill the position of campground host. Job duties are listed below.

- Friendly and inviting personality.
- Ability to work well unsupervised.
- Communicate effectively in person and through telephone communication to campers, glampers, and owners.
The primary focus of this position is to greet/register late night arrivals (7pm-10pm) and enforce rules. You must not have a fear of approaching guests to enforce ground rules. Must be observant and possess authority. You must be able to effectively defuse situations nicely to keep our guests happy, while also being firm. You must be available for emergency tasks such as flood evacuation.

- Guest Service
- Watchman
- Prevent Trespassing
- Patrolling Campground
- Rule Enforcement
- Assist Campers
- Grounds Keeping
- Maintain/Clean Bathrooms & Showers Regularly
- Firepit Wood Delivery
Must be able to walk on gravel, hear/see well at night, drive atv/utv safely, work in the rain, and work in the heat during the summer.

Required:
- Preferred own Trailer/RV/Camper
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License with a clean history and no DUI convictions in the past 10 years.
- Reliable transportation
- Team building and customer service skills.
- Basic reading/writing and math skills
