Job Description

RJourney, LLC is looking for an RV Park Manager who will be critical to guest satisfaction, overall positive and memorable environment at RJourney, LLC. parks. Working with upper management, this role will be responsible for executing the park’s management processes, and systems, while working alongside the entire RV Park team to improve and smoothly operate the park. Work closely with upper management ensuring operations grow revenue while managing expenses. This full-time role is responsible for overall guest satisfaction and park profitability by managing guest services, coordinating with the maintenance team, reporting to management, and executing the overall strategy of the park.

Responsibilities

  • Process transactions accurately through a point-of-sale system (POS register), count money, make change, and process credit card transactions
  • Take ownership during emergency situations
  • Speak in front of groups of various sizes
  • Adaptability to the fluctuating needs of our operations
  • Represent RJourney, LLC. in a positive manner and be the critical ambassador for all guest services and employee facilitation.
  • Display teamwork ensuring all tasks are completed for smooth park is operation.
  • Provide employees with autonomy while ensuring the job is completed to a high standard.
  • Proactively engage with guests by addressing needs, answering questions, giving directions and other information in a professional manner, escalate to management when necessary.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation to include park happenings, employee details, and any other pertinent information with regards to running the park smoothly.
  • Working with the Training Director ensure completion of all training certifications
  • Maintain and improve the appearance of the park, including but not limited to debris pick up, sweeping and mopping, window cleaning.
  • Maintain a proactive stance on the safety standards and operations of the park and communicate this to the Park Staff.
  • Working with upper management plan facility activities and local marketing to enhance the overall exposure of the park.
  • Provide accurate data for deposit collection
  • Resiliency and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • An ambitious and detail-orientated approach.
  • Excellent telephone etiquette skills and capability to share communication across team to ensure everyone understands updates, priorities, and appropriate course of escalation
  • Operate a Smartphone/ tablet device to access assignments and submit work orders
  • Maintain safety while operating vehicles

Basic Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role
  • Prolonged standing during peak operational hours to include indoor and outdoor settings
  • Physical role requiring heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and kneeling
  • Sound judgment and decision-making skills
  • Strong written and interpersonal communications skills
  • Safely handle cleaning chemicals and supplies
  • Additional Personal Protective Equipment (face shields, goggles, refillable hand sanitizers, etc.) may be required.
  • Full-Time requires full availability for any shift, seven (7) days per week, including nights, weekends, and some holidays
  • 2 or more years of experience in managing RV Parks or similar management experience as well as experience managing staff.
  • 3 or more experience in customer service with experience in managing guest experiences.
  • High proficiency working with computer applications and learning new software applications
  • Must be able to pass background check

  • Bilingual
  • Propane Certification
  • CPR/AED/First Aide Certification
  • Pool Maintenance Certification
  • Computer proficiency

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $16.00 – $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 12 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • On call
  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Cannonville, UT 17857: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Hotel management: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Hospitality: 1 year (Preferred)
