For the 2023 camping season, Modoc National Forest is looking for friendly couples or individuals to fill campground host positions across the Forest. Work Camp Couples

Camp Host

Approximately 40 minutes south of Carmel, this popular 189-site campground offers hiking trails, river access, waterfalls, a Nature Center, a lodge and restaurant concession. Duties vary and can include camp checks, firewood sales, staffing the Nature Center, kiosk operation and interpretation. Unreliable phone, internet and satellite service, but most local businesses provide adequate internet. Hosting opportunities available year-round.
