Campground Host to Clear Springs Recreation Area
Clear Springs Recreation Area is nestled in a secluded area of rolling hills. The area, surrounded by tall stands of ine and mixed hardwood trees, provide visitors with a shady forest atmosphere. Facilities include camping( 22 units with hookups for water and electricity); picnicking(8 tables & grills); pavilion for 25-30 people, dump station; flush toilets and hot showers, 1 mile hiking trail around the lake and 10 mile trail within the Clear Springs Recreation Area. This site is open year round. The host site contains running, water, sewer, electricity, and storage shed. Clear Springs is approximately 8 miles west of Meadville, 35 miles west of Brookhaven, 32 miles east of Natchez
Duties include visitor information, campground cleanup, trash removal, and bathroom and shower cleanup.
Ability to interact with members of the public. Able to lift 30-40 lbs.
