Job Title: Volunteer Camp Host

Location: Arapaho Valley Ranch, Granby Colorado

Position Type: Part-Time, Evening/Night Shift (Volunteer)

About Us: At Arapaho Valley Ranch, we offer a variety of accommodations, including campsites, RV sites, yurts, teepees, glamping tents and cozy cabins all nestled in the serene beauty of nature. We pride ourselves on providing a welcoming and peaceful environment for guests to unwind and connect with the outdoors. We’re looking for a dedicated, friendly, and responsible volunteer to join our team as a Camp Host.

Position Overview: As a Volunteer Camp Host, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a peaceful and enjoyable experience, particularly during the evening and night hours. This is a part-time position with flexible daytime hours, allowing you to enjoy the ranch and surrounding area during the day.

Key Responsibilities:

After-Hours Guest Support: Answer after-hours phone calls to respond to guest inquiries, concerns, or needs.
Quiet Hour Enforcement: Conduct property walks after 10:00 PM to ensure guests adhere to quiet hour policies and maintain a peaceful atmosphere.
Guest Assistance: Provide on-site assistance and guidance to guests, ensuring a positive stay.
Emergency Response: Be available to address any emergency situations that may arise during the evening/night.
Property Monitoring: Keep an eye on the property for any safety or maintenance concerns, and report any issues to management.
Schedule: This is primarily an evening/night shift position, with flexibility during the day. Ideal candidates should be available to work late afternoon/early evening into the night (approximately 6 PM – 12 AM or later as needed).
Days off or flexible hours during the daytime to enjoy the ranch and surrounding area.

Qualifications:

Strong communication skills and a friendly, helpful attitude.
Comfortable handling phone inquiries and resolving guest concerns.
Ability to work independently and maintain a professional demeanor in a variety of situations.
A passion for the outdoors and helping others enjoy their stay.
Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is a plus but not required.
