Assistant Managers (Couple Position)

This is not a seasonal position. This is a permanent position.

We are hiring a couple for the year-round position of Assistant Managers at Black Canyon Ranch RV Resort in Black Canyon City, Arizona. Black Canyon Ranch RV Resort is a close-knit RV and park model community in Black Canyon City, Arizona. Black Canyon City offers many recreational activities for nature lovers. Sedona, Jerome and Prescott are just an hour to the north, and downtown Phoenix is a short 45-mile drive to the south. You can be at the Grand Canyon in under 3 hours. We’re centrally located to a large number of day trip opportunities for adventure and exploration! At Black Canyon Ranch RV Resort, you’ll enjoy cool desert evenings and invigorating sunny days. With more than 310 days of sun each year, you’ll have ample opportunity to explore the best that Arizona has to offer. While it does get hot in Black Canyon City, we’re 8-10° cooler than Phoenix and rarely see below freezing nights in the winter – it’s the best of both worlds.

Black Canyon Ranch RV Resort has held a 10/10*/10 Good Sam rating for 10 years in a row. We are a 107-site facility that is at 100% capacity most of the year. The resort has been under new management since June 2023 and the managers have worked to foster a culture of community. We offer many opportunities for events and activities and staff are encouraged to participate.

Couples will work a similar schedule with the same days off for a consistent schedule. You don’t have to have management experience or experience working in an RV park to apply. Black Canyon Ranch RV Resort is a good place to learn about all facets of resort management. Our corporation owns multiple parks, so there are opportunities for advancement within the organization. Compensation Package Assistant Manager:

Wage: $17/hr for every hour worked.

Site: FHU Deluxe site measuring 50’X30’ with a concrete pad ($950/month value)

Provided Employee Amenities: Electricity 50/30/20 amp pedestals, Laundry, high-speed internet (fiber optic internet is installed at each site), cable, water, trash, and sewer.

Park Amenities: Heated pool, spa, horseshoe pits, corn hole, weekly games, regular gatherings for meals, park outings, craft activities, monthly movie nights, and more!

Assistant Manager Position Details: As Assistant Managers you’ll perform various tasks related to resort management. This position supports the Managers in all aspects of property management and serves as a liaison between our office and the residents/guests to ensure a quality experience at the Ranch. The management team cross-trains in all aspects of resort management. This means both candidates will be expected to learn office and maintenance tasks. This allows any one of the managers to step in and take care of a problem for guests.
