As an Assistant Resort Manager for Black Meadow Landing in Parker Dam, Ca you will have responsibility for the operational aspects and the continued profitability of the resort community and will serve as the day-to-day point of contact for visitors and residents. You will work alongside the Resort Manager and oversee administrative activities, diner, general store, property maintenance and customer service. But most importantly – guest, resident and employee relations. Ensuring a positive atmosphere and responsive service for the members of your resort community will not only mean satisfied guests and long-term residents, but also better word-of-mouth referrals!
Requirements
Operational Support: Assist the Resort Manager in overseeing all aspects of resort operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning, including the restaurant, store, and marina.
Customer Service: Support the Resort Manager in serving as a primary point of contact for visitors and residents, ensuring a high level of responsiveness and satisfaction.
Administrative Assistance: Help manage activities such as reservations, financial transactions, and record-keeping.
Property Maintenance: Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure the resort is well-maintained and issues are addressed promptly.
Human Resource Support: Collaborate with the Resort Manager and Sky Resorts Corporate to manage staffing, employee relations, and training programs.
Sales and Marketing Assistance: Assist in driving efforts to attract new guests and long-term residents through effective sales and marketing strategies.
Guest and Resident Relations: Help foster a positive atmosphere, address concerns, and encourage positive word-of-mouth referrals.
On-Call Responsibilities: Support the Resort Manager in being available 24/7 to address urgent issues and emergencies, ensuring the safety and satisfaction of all guests and residents.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in hospitality management or a related field.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations.
Proficiency in administrative tasks and basic financial management.
Passion for creating a welcoming and enjoyable resort environment.
Experience with operating stores, marinas, and restaurants is a plus.
Salary Description:
$60,000 +
