On-site Caretaker and Maintenance Associate
Location: Buck Creek RV Park, Abilene, TX
Buck Creek RV Park, nestled in the serene landscapes of Abilene, TX, is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as an On-site Caretaker and Maintenance Associate. This unique opportunity offers a chance to live on-site amidst the tranquil surroundings of the park while fulfilling essential responsibilities in groundskeeping, maintenance, and guest services.
Responsibilities:
Groundskeeping: Regularly maintain the appearance of the park grounds by mowing lawns, trimming hedges, and ensuring pathways are clear and tidy, spreading gravel.
– Weed Control: Implement effective weed control measures to uphold the aesthetic appeal of the park and prevent overgrowth.
– Light Maintenance: Perform light maintenance tasks such as repairing minor plumbing or electrical issues, replacing light bulbs, and addressing any other small repairs as needed.
– Tree Trimming: Safely trim trees and shrubs to maintain their health and appearance while ensuring the safety of guests and property.
– Guest Services: Provide friendly and helpful assistance to guests, including answering inquiries, providing directions, and addressing any concerns promptly and professionally.
– General Assistance: Assist in various park-related tasks and projects as assigned by management to contribute to the overall functionality and attractiveness of the RV park.
Qualifications:
– Prior experience in groundskeeping, maintenance, or a related field preferred.
– Ability to operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools safely and effectively.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
– Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also being a team player when necessary.
– Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance tasks is advantageous.
– Must be physically capable of performing the duties of the role, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
– A positive attitude, reliability, and a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences are essential.
