Located in the Western Cascade foothills about an hour from Portland or Salem, Oregon, Camp Dakota is a beautiful 45 acre forested campground and adventure park.  We are open to the public (by reservation) year round for camping and a wide variety of fun activities for all ages.  Camping options include yurt rentals, RV sites, tent sites, tee pee rentals, cabin tents, and group camping sites.

Activities available include zip lines, high ropes challenge course, paintball, gellyball, a rock climbing wall, high adventure programs, team building programs, gold panning, treasure hunting, and an 18 hole disc golf course.   Onsite amenities include hot showers, firewood sales, ice, hot coffee & espresso, pizza delivery, snacks, camping gear, and souvenirs.

​Position Description:

This is a full time permanent position with the opportunity to live on site. We are looking for individuals (or couples) who love the outdoor lifestyle, work well with others, and have a can-do attitude.

Pay range: RV site + utilities + $15 per hour – All hours are paid however the free RV site requires that you work a minimum of 30 hours per week .

Paid Time Off earned @ one hour for every 30 hours worked

Optional Simple IRA with 3% matching employer contribution* available after the first $5,000.00 earned

Optional Health Insurance after 60 days

​Requirements:

Must have valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle
Must pass a background check and drug test
Must be physically able to perform menial labor
Must be willing to work most weekends and all summer holidays (Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day)

Preferred skills: These are NOT requirements, but individuals with these skills will be considered preferentially

Comfortable working at height. (We run zip line tours and aerial challenge courses)
Outdoor work experience
Maintenance experience
Management experience
Janitorial experience
Cooking experience
Customer service experience
Archery experience
Paintball experience
