This 230 acre multi-recreation center is located less than a mile from the Pacific Ocean.  Privately managed by a non-profit organization, the Elings Park Foundation is seeking volunteers as Park Hosts to provide guest services to thousands of visitors.

Elings Park has many events and activities happening at our six tennis courts, five athletic fields, three picnic areas and two wedding venues. We also have nine miles of hiking and biking trails, BMX track, RC Tracks and RC Airfield. Elings Park is dog-friendly and welcomes approx. 800 dog members annually.

Park Hosts must be courteous, customer oriented and friendly. A Park Host will be expected to spend most of their time outdoors performing a variety of visitor services, including, but not limited to general supervision of park visitation, opening the park, interaction with our park visitors, collection of fees, monitoring public events, patrolling, and park closing.

If selected, a Park Host will be required to volunteer 25 hours per week (5-days on (must be available to work weekends) with 2-consecutive week days off). Shifts vary each day. Singles must work 25 hours. Couples may split the 25 hour requirement.

Park Hosts are allowed to camp at Elings Park and must have a self-contained recreational vehicle. Full Hookups are available (wifi, cable, electricity, plumbing, potable water).  Hosts may also enjoy miles of hiking and mountain biking trails tennis courts and picnic areas. There are Park Host sites on the north side of the Park.

If interested, please send a letter of interest and/or resume, three references from prior work experience and a photo/dimensions of your rv/trailer to Jen Weeks, jweeks@elingspark.org.
