JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Lee Ranger District is looking for a single volunteer or couple to fill a campground host opportunity at Elizabeth Furnace Family Campground. The Elizabeth Furnace Campground is located in Shenandoah County and approximately 30 minutes from Fort Valley, VA.
Schedule: Hosts are expected to be available at the campground Friday – Monday including holiday weekends. Commitment to the entire recreation season from May – October is preferred.
Amenities: Campsite is suitable for RV/Trailer provided free of charge. Housing is not provided and host must provide their own RV or trailer – tents are not suitable for length of stay. Campground is equipped with vault toilets, flushing toilets, and showers. There are also spigots throughout the campground and a hand pump for drinking water. RV hookups and electricity is provided at the campsite with very limited cell service.
