Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Monument RV Park in Fruita, Colorado.  The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing various maintenance tasks to ensure the functionality and safety of our facilities. This is a seasonal position with the possibility of turning into year round (if interested).

Responsibilities:

• Maintain park lawn, weed eating, picking up debris, leaf blowing
• Site clean up: cleaning out fire pits, garbage removal
• Deliver firewood, fill propane tanks
• Assist activities/recreation department when required for event set up and break down
• Will need to become very familiar with campground layout, sites, lodging units as well as the rules and regulations at the campground
• Pressure washing buildings
• Basic electrical and plumbing skills
• Basic regular maintenance: painting, changing a faucet, etc.
• Should be able to lift 75 pounds
• Other duties as needed

Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role
– Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
– Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
– Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: Flexible, we offer hourly pay, hourly plus discounted site rent or exclusive site rent.

Expected hours: 20-30
