The Historic Virginian Hotel isn’t just any old stop along the trail—it’s a true piece of the Wild West, serving up warm beds, hearty meals, and good ol’ fashioned hospitality. Whether it’s a cowboy fresh off the range, a snowmobiler looking for adventure, or a traveler passing through, we make sure every guest leaves with a story to tell. Now, we’re lookin’ for a friendly, hardworking hand to help keep things runnin’ smooth as our Front of House (Bartender/Server) & Assistant Innkeeper. If you’ve got a knack for hospitality, a welcoming smile, and a love for good company, we’d be mighty happy to have you on board!
What You’ll Be Doing:
Bartender/Server Duties:
- Serve up drinks with a steady hand and a friendly grin in our old-time saloon.
- Take orders and dish out hearty meals with a side of Western charm.
- Keep the bar and dining area lookin’ sharp and stocked up.
- Handle cash and cards like a pro—no funny business.
- Follow all safety and alcohol service regulations.
Assistant Innkeeper & Hotel Hand Duties:
- Greet guests with a warm Western welcome and make check-ins and check-outs smooth as a prairie breeze.
- Help manage reservations and chat with guests before, during, and after their stay.
- Give visitors the lowdown on the best local spots and attractions.
- Pitch in around the hotel—helping with light housekeeping, restocking supplies, and making sure everything is in tip-top shape.
- Handle any guest concerns with a cool head and a helpful attitude.
What We’re Lookin’ For:
- Experience in hospitality, food service, or bartending is a plus, but a great attitude is what really counts.
- Outgoing, friendly, and ready to make guests feel right at home.
- Quick on your feet and good at juggling tasks.
- Comfortable handling money and using a POS system.
- Must be 21+ to serve alcohol.
- Ready to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
