Job Description
Wisconsin, Langlade County Forestry, Parks and Recreation Department has an opening for responsible individuals/couple to serve as joint campground hosts at Jack Lake Campground which is approximately 15 miles north of Antigo, Wisconsin. The position will be mid-May through mid-October 2025. Duties include taking reservations, bathroom cleaning, ice/firewood sales, customer service and various other tasks. Hosts must be comfortable with computers/online reservation system. Training, computer and cell phone will be provided. Hosts are also provided complimentary campsite, water, sewer, electric, boat launch access, and wireless Internet access. Successful candidates must provide their own camper and be on site at the campground for nights and weekends at least 80% of the time. Those interested may also be considered for additional duties in general park maintenance under a Limited Term Employment position for up to 20 hours per week at a rate of $16.00 per hour.
