Job Description
Hi! We’re looking for someone to help execute a one time seamless plan, prep, set up/take down & clean up for Burning Man. This job would likely last for 4-6 weeks with about 2 weeks on site during August 2023 and before & after prep in Austin, TX. For the right person, this could turn into a yearly gig. This would be a great position for full time RV campers.
Qualifications
Ability to drive a 1 ton truck, an RV and/or toy hauler (transporting to different locations)
Must enjoy the outdoors and open to extreme weather conditions
Must be flexible and willing to accommodate last minute changes with great problem solving skills
*Must be familiar & have attended BM before
Responsibilities
Hiring and managing other work campers as needed (4-5 people)
Full inventory count before & after event
Prepping camping equipment, organizing RVs to make sure they are fully stocked
Ordering or shopping for supplies
Setting up campsite including a kitchen area, lounge area
Planning, prepping and cooking 3 meals a day for 10-15 people
Hired people under you will assist
Keeping all receipts
