Volunteer Camp Host

Volunteer Camp Host position at Tongue River Reservoir State Park (https://fwp.mt.gov/stateparks/tongue-river-reservoir) with a monthly stipend of $100 and a free RV site for the 2025 season. Duties:

Volunteer duties include but are not limited to:

·         Daily interactions with campers and visitors to the campground that include regional recreational opportunities and campground regulations

·         Daily campground fee compliance

·         Daily campsite maintenance duties

·         Monitoring facilities and campground to ensure visitor safety

·         Report any incidents or hazards to the direct supervisor,

Location:

Tongue River Reservoir State Park is located among the red shale, juniper canyons, and open prairies of southeastern Montana. The park is loved by Montana and Wyoming anglers, campers, and boaters/ It provides excellent fishing as numerous state record fish have been pulled from its waters. Sheridan, WY is 40 minutes down the road and Billings, MT is approximately 2 hours away.

Schedule:

The schedule is flexible and is determined by the park manager.
