Job Description
Volunteer Summer Host/Caretaker position at Thompson Falls State Park with a free RV site for the 2025 season. Applications are available on the Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks Volunteer site.
Duties:
Volunteer duties include but are not limited to:
· Daily interactions with visitors to the state park,
· Caretaking duties, and
· Report any incidents or hazards to the direct supervisor.
Location:
Thompson Falls State Park is 36 acres in size at 2,362 feet in elevation and consists of a mature, mixed pine forest with 18 camp sites, fishing, nature walks, swimming, boating, wildlife viewing, and bird watching opportunities. The park has a family fishing pond, with new features including an accessible fishing pier, new picnic shelter, latrine, and improved parking. You can also explore the recently expanded non-motorized Thompson Falls Trail which runs along the Clark Fork River and connects to the Hwy 200 trail into town.
Schedule:
Season Schedule: As soon as available through the rest of the summer season.
Daily Schedule: Determined by the park manager.
