DESCRIPTION:

Seeking to fill two (2) Park Host positions from May 15 – Sep 15, 2023. Park Hosts must be a team of 2, sharing an RV campsite.

Volunteers will be working with Recreation Operations of the Willamette Valley Project for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Pine Meadows Campground.

Duties include light maintenance, visitor assistance, roving the campground, engaging with families, booth operations, dam tours, outreach programs, light paperwork, equipment operations such as weed trimming, backpack blowing, and litter pickup, etc. Duration of position is early spring and late summer. All duties will be based on skill set and availability. Background check is required to perform duties. Pine Meadows Campground and all Corps lands around both Dorena and Cottage Grove Lakes have an alcohol prohibition. All Corps personnel, contractors, volunteers and the public are required to follow this restriction.

 

DUTIES

QUALIFICATIONS
Good communication skills, interpersonal skills, computer operations, driving golf cart, booth operations and general maintenance skills.
