About ROAM:
ROAM is a venture-backed outdoor hospitality company building a network of boutique campgrounds, each with a focus on environmental sustainability and modern-day amenities. We’re on a mission to deliver best-in-class outdoor hospitality experiences and transform recreational campground development.

About this Position:
We’re looking for candidates with guest services experience who want to continue their career in outdoor hospitality with a growing early-stage company.

This is a full-time travel position that requires an on-site presence at our properties. It’s an ideal situation for someone or a family living full-time in an RV, but we also have alternative housing options.

Our guest services ambassadors are responsible for front-line communication with our guests, issue troubleshooting and resolution, and assisting with the day-to-day operations of our properties.

The best candidates will:

  • Be passionate about camping, RVing, outdoor recreation, and environmental conservation
  • Care deeply about the customer experience and take pride in providing the best service possible to guests
  • Be eager to get their foot in the door at a rapidly growing, eco-conscious outdoor hospitality company
  • Be patient and empathetic to our guests who come from all over the country and have different levels of experience with camping and electronic booking systems
  • Love process efficiency and seek out opportunities to streamline and simplify our guest services work environment
  • Have previous experience working and living as a “digital nomad”
  • Be comfortable working at an early-stage company where change and innovation through is welcomed and embraced
  • Intend on growing their career in the outdoor hospitality industry

Required:

  • Full-time travel through the US on-site at our properties.
  • Accurately read, understand, question, and contribute to standard operating procedures.
  • Familiarity with using laptops and smartphones for communication
  • Detail-oriented for accuracy of data and information
  • Treat every guest like royalty.
  • Ability to demonstrate empathy
  • Effective critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Unequivocal drive for guest satisfaction

Description:
As a Guest Services Ambassador, you will be responsible for the following: 

  • 100% guest satisfaction is your ultimate objective.
  • Book reservations via phone calls, chat, text, and in-person interactions
  • Interact and conversate with guests about where they are from, and where they are headed, and provide local and travel recommendations.
  • Respond to email and social media inquiries
  • Maintain and update CRM with guest interactions
  • Resolve and de-escalate any guest complaints or issues in a calm manner
  • Be kind
