Site Host

San Jacinto Battleground SHS – the birthplace of Texas – is looking for volunteers with an RV to serve as site hosts. Site hosts can stay for anywhere from two to six months at a time. Primary duties include: cleaning, routine maintenance duties, assisting with the museum and educational programs, and interacting with the public. Let us know if you have specialized skills. You will work outside occasionally. Public speaking, mechanic, photography, and crafting skills are all a plus! Provided utilities include: water and sewer hookups, 50 amp power outlets, and laundry facilities. We ask that single hosts work 75 hours a month and couples work 100 hours a month.
