Job Description
Welcome to Sand Hollow State Park in Hurricane UT, where recreation stays fun! We are seeking volunteer camphosts for several of our campgrounds for the 2025 season. We are the most visited state park in Utah with over 1.5 million visitors in 2024. Though the park stays busy, the oasis that is Sand Hollow does not lose its charm. The duties you would be expected to perform are 1) cleaning campsites after check out (we are looking for one camphost who will clean two tiny homes in our beachside campground) 2) clean bathrooms 3) nightly park checks to enforce quiet hours 4) and trash cleanup and other small projects as time allows. You will work 4 days a week, with a three day weekend. 25 hours per week, mandatory 9am-2pm with park checks at 10pm and 1.25 hours flexible each day. We are offering FHUs. The park is near St. George Utah; a city known for outdoor recreation. If you love hiking, golfing, boating, fishing, OHVing, and everything in between, this is the state park for you.
