Job Title: Maintenance Laborer
Reports to: Maintenance Manager
Physical Requirements: Lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds of material or equipment. Endure prolonged walking, standing, kneeling, and bending. Expose oneself to various weather conditions such as humidity, rain, and temperature extremes.
Job Requirements:
Work Schedule: Ability to work a 4-day schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Characteristics: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, professional in both appearance and conduct.
Attendance: Must maintain a good attendance record and punctuality.
Safety & Tools: Knowledge of safety policies, proper lifting techniques, and the ability to use landscape maintenance hand tools and equipment safely. Driving: If driving is required, must possess a valid state-issued driver’s license, clear driving record, and pass a criminal background check.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Landscape Maintenance: Mow, edge, and weed-eat turf areas. Blow sidewalks, streets, and work areas free from leaves and debris. Trim and hedge trees and shrubs. Apply fertilizers and soil amendments. Perform general maintenance on landscape equipment. Clean and maintain planting beds, keeping them weed-free.
Teamwork & Conduct: Follow instructions from any Manager. Work effectively within a team, maintaining the company’s professional standards. Attend training and apply learned knowledge to daily tasks. Be able to work on a project without supervision.
