JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Lee Ranger District is looking for a single volunteer or couple to fill a campground host opportunity at Trout Pond Campground. Trout Pond is a large campground located in Hardy County. The area has two beautiful lakes that is stocked with trout. There are nearby popular trails, and the closest town is Wardensville, WV.
Schedule: Hosts are expected to be available at the campground Friday-Monday including Holiday weekends. Commitment to the entire recreation season from May to October is preferred.
Amenities: Campsites suitable for RV/Trailer provided free of charge with running water spigots throughout the campground and electricity. Housing is not provided, and host must provide their own RV or Trailer – Tents may not be suitable for length of stay. Campground is equipped with running water and showers with limited cell service.
