JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position is for a set of volunteers at the Wartrace Creek Day Use area. Typical daily duties would be to open the gate, staff the booth, greet visitors, ensure guests are using the Ventek payment machine, exchanging receipts for annual passes, and providing general information about the area to guests. Giving out water safety coloring books to kids and water safety items to adult visitors. There is potential (if the volunteer desires) to do light maintenance in the area such as painting or pressure washing. Once a month check the life jacket loaner stations and relay to Ranger staff if any are missing or in need of replacement. Campsite pad with utilities will be provided. Hours and days will be Friday 12 to 6, Saturday from 10 to 4 Sunday from 10 to 4
