JOB DESCRIPTION:

White Sulphur Springs National Fish Hatchery is a rainbow trout broodstock facility located in southeastern West Virginia in the Appalachian Mountains. The hatchery’s main focus is providing approximately 8 million rainbow trout eggs to partners across the nation. We also specialize in native species recovery and work with mussels and crayfish. We are looking for 1-2 individuals from June to October to assist hatchery staff with an assortment of tasks such as lawn care, landscaping, gardening, janitorial services, giving guided tours, and assisting with aquatic animal fish culture. Time frame can be extended or shortened to fit your schedule. In exchange for approximately 24 hours per week per person, volunteers will receive full hook up, level concrete RV lot with 50-30 amp service, water and sewer hook-ups.
