Job Description

Volunteer Camp Host position at Beavertail Hill State Park (https://fwp.mt.gov/stateparks/beavertail-hill) with a monthly stipend of $100 and a free RV site for the 2025 season. Inquire at Stateparkvolunteers@mt.gov , or contact the park manager directly for details including the application process.

Duties:

Volunteer duties include but are not limited to:

·         Daily interactions with campers and visitors to the campground that include regional recreational opportunities and campground regulations

·         Daily campground fee compliance

·         Daily campsite maintenance duties

·         Monitoring facilities and campground to ensure visitor safety

·         Report any incidents or hazards to the direct supervisor,

Location:

Beavertail Hill State Park includes 24 campsites with electricity and 2 tipi rentals, fishing opportunities, and a self-guided nature trail. The park is located about 30 minutes east of Missoula along the Clark Fork river.

Schedule:

The schedule is flexible and is determined by the park manager.
