Arizona RV Resort Resort is looking for a talented and hard-working Maintenance Lead to report to and assist the Maintenance Manager in the upkeep and maintenance of our beautiful resort on the Colorado River. (This is a permanent, full time, year round position)
Job Description: Arizona Oasis Resort is seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Lead to join our team. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Lead will play a crucial role in ensuring our facilities and grounds for two locations are impeccably maintained, providing a safe and enjoyable environment for our guests. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working hands-on in a beautiful, outdoor setting.
Requirements: Assist the Maintenance Manager in overseeing the maintenance team and daily operations.
Perform routine inspections and maintenance of buildings, equipment, and grounds.
Identify and repair issues related to plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and other facility components.
Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including inventory and supplies.
Coordinate with other departments to address maintenance needs and ensure minimal disruption to guest services.
Implement and uphold safety protocols and procedures.
Train and mentor junior maintenance staff.
Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and situations.
Qualifications: Proven experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a resort or similar environment.
Strong knowledge of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs.
Leadership skills with the ability to oversee and guide a team.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as needed.
Valid driver’s license.
